Selina Wright - Executive Director
Selina Wright, born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, brings her dedication and passion for youth and family advocacy to her role as Executive Director of Trinity Safe Haven. Growing up in a single-parent household in Avondale and graduating from Withrow University in 1999, Selina has developed a strong connection to her community. With extensive experience in entrepreneurship and youth development, she launched KNS Graphics/Event Rentals in 2018 to offer custom and personalized products to her customers.
Her commitment to youth led her to become a Necco foster parent in 2019, where she completed over 160 hours of specialized training in trauma, abuse, and parenting. This experience prepared her to become a better advocate for vulnerable children. After a traumatic event involving her daughter and other single mothers in 2021, Selina felt called to take action. She founded Trinity Safe Haven, a compassionate and safe space where families can connect, collaborate, and cope with the impacts of sexual abuse and trauma. Under her leadership, TSH continues to support survivors on their healing journeys.
Teneshia Eason-President
Teneshia Eason is the President of Trinity Safe Haven, was born in Cincinnati Ohio, and went to school at Woodward high school. She is a mother of 5 children and 1 grandchild. Teneshia is a certified aid who has worked with elderly clients as well as fostered a child with behavior issues. Teneshia enjoys working with the youth from being a youth football coach and basketball coach for Cincinnati Public Schools. Teneshia is currently obtaining her certification as a youth fitness trainer and yoga instructor. The main part she enjoys is being a mentor for the youth. Teneshia worked for Merchants Security corporate office Located at Mercy Health Corporate office where she assisted with the structure of how security operates for the corporate building. Wanting to further her career, she stepped down from the position of site supervisor while working for them if need be. Teneshia went on to work for Bon Secures Mercy Health in human resources as a lead onboarding specialist. In total Teneshia has been with Mercy Health since 2016. Teneshia has a commercial cleaning, lawn care, car detailing, electrician and carpenter business called Shine Like Royalty. While also Completing many other endeavors.
Angela Fox, MA LPC - Vice President
Angela Fox, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), is an essential part of the Trinity Safe Haven team. As the current Vice President of the board she also offers her therapeutic expertise to the team and to those affected by trauma and abuse. Angela holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Criminal Justice Track from the University of Cincinnati and completed her Master's in Mental Health Counseling at UC in 2011. She went on to obtain a second master's degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2014.
With a professional background that includes working with children and adults, she has also worked with clients who has developmental disabilities, forensic clients, and worked in child welfare. Angela has a wealth of experience and knowledge across various fields of mental health. She provides school-based and outpatient therapy for individuals aged 3+, helping children and families navigate complex emotions, trauma and mental health challenges. At Trinity Safe Haven, Angela will soon become independently licensed and specialize in Maternal mental health as well as grief therapy, providing compassionate care to mothers, adults and adolescents as they work through loss and trauma.
